The current, Navman autopilot, in, TandEadapt, could not follow an altering course from the, Garmin GPSmap 5012, which was recently installed. This year I'm installing these components for the flybridge and lower helm autopilot, to provide full functionality from the new chart plotter: GHP Reactor Core pack,GRF10 Sensor,

I didn't mind handing over control for such smart devices. In fact I feel more in control than ever. Upgrading from a faulty system to a working one increases the solvency (in maritime terms) of the trawler as practical long distance vessel.
