There were unexpected delays with the arrival of Thomas and Elizabeth, my parents. TandEadapt, is still moored on the pontoon in Varadero. It was necessary to do an engine run.

The Electric Candles, burning bright TandEadapt

The reading light in the stateroom was finally replaced with unconventional, crystal candle frame shape, LEDs. Very hard to find on the yacht market, as crystal lights are usually spared for super and mega yachts. The white LEDs provide a clean atmosphere, which warms in the mx of the other amber and yellow lights in her stateroom. This fitting is definately the brightest at night. It mordernises the cabin well enough to take her upgrades into current trends.

Tap it clean; Red, blue and green.

The hot water tap in the galley had almost completely seized. The cold water tap was not far behind, ceasing also. Rather than buy two taps, I found one, more utilisable, on Amazon,in the same price range as two less. The plumbing was managing to fit alone but the tools required to apply the fixing I didn't have. Thank you Jover Yachts, for making a quick, clean job of it.

An,.... attractive forsset, for anyone to brighten the galley with.

The odd key holes were replaced with simetrical black ones, with new keys. The gauge panel will be covered in white to hide scratches on the surface.

USB, in the Galley.

A quick job made easy by, Electricidad y Mantenimiento. Installing a USB in the Galley, means there is access to power for devices when stooled to eat or prepare food for eating.

The notebook does not like recognising the power source at the moment. However, it charges the iPad and provides two ports. 5volts 3.1amps.

Purchased on EBay it's blue backlight compliments the other USB ports in the private cabins.

Fish Tales

Water in Varadero is murky, seeing the hull under the waterline was made more difficult. Regrowth was minimul, however fish accumulating and oxygen on the waterline has cause thicker plantlife to appear.

Wore a suit as unsure of waters wildlife, possibility of stings and toxins. Don't try this alone, if you don't know what you're doing and have an accident know one will know you've died.

Latches - less

9/5/2017

The morning has been a walkabout finding latches to replace ones that had broken on, TandEadapt. None could be immediately found. New latches are too big for the storage spaces and new ones had to be ordered. I then removed latches from doors which will be removed when refitting is done and fixed latches to the latchless detriments.

I'll finish the job with wood filler for a smooth finish on the edges and cover the previous holes.
