Engine Run

5/30/2017

Emission where slightly dark in first couple of minutes. I could not determine blue or black smoke over the azure water. The batteries had instruments ready and started the engine first time. I'm watching out for an oil leak that appeared during the time she was idle. I think it was oil from the autopilot pump.

The engines were smooth enough in neutral, hearing the components of the cylinders running in 10,000 revs, for them to sync.

I intend on topping up the water before moving. Letting less likely failing from heat exchanger.

Thankfully, there was no need for winterising in the Med. while I was away TandEadapt has been well sustained. (Winterising would be a simple case of checking and changing filters and applying proper oil and antifreeze to the relevant components.)

Its not clear in the Video: I'm starting a new log book, keeping the old one on board. Both required for regulation and crew reference, on board commercial vessels.

Editing today, coming close to completion, I found an excerpt very relative to my running cognition of late. Being alone on, TandEadapt, I said to my mother: 'For the bedivelling antagonist, an arbitrator would be required for them to keep a cabin, less I lose my ship.'

Reading this in the morning today, I decided to make an audio extract. - from, The Curse of The Spider by Aaron D Pemberton

Editor's Cabin Lock In

Trying for progress in the careful editing of, The Curse of The Spider. It's a big job as the novel is long. The careful planning of the editing process has still led to a lock in, this weekend, where I can do a precise job and get the book ready to be published in June.

Feedback from the autobiographies such as, Liz Mitchell's book Boney M, has proved the quality standard of labour is rewarding when endured to completion. I have not received advances or publishing deals from other recognised organisation. However, working this way, I've found the paid skill to act as the agent for Squint Koros artists who might find advances and deals, through careful discernment in these kinds of creations.

DIY Day today. I applied 2 new tea towel pegs. Very simple by design, I was thankful the correct colour and style was delivered. They were a bargain found on eBay and I managed to install them for added charm in the galley.

I also scrubbed the decks 😩

1, 2, 3 for Studio & Koros Charter, Sanctuary

A Studio for our Audio and Video work has been chosen. The property has a sound proof room. Parking/Storage space and is newly refurbished. The area was not ideal, being away from the Marina, near the back of the town centre. It does give all our agents and models the functional space for our creative art deliverances.

I'm ready for moving in this week to continue the Branding PR Campaign, of, Squint Koros Charter, ASAP.

How?: I took my credit card to reserve it and have been endorsed to maintain and purchase it, for proceeding business related to Boney M, Liz Mitchell, DReaLEartHG and Squint Koros conglomerates.

Lines

The ropes on TandEadapt are enough. However for stern and bow lines, its recommended rope be 150% the length of the vessel. For Spring lines it recommended they be 200% the length of the vessel.

I bought 2 x 30 m 14mm ropes to compensate for there being no rope twice the length of the boat.

I also redid a lot of the mooring lines, adding a snubber line where I had a sheet bend linked rope before.

Flybridge is finally flying

There was great apprehension about the investing on a modern Flybridge for TandEadapt. To bring her this far up to date, without draining our resources, we found many parts over a lengthy period on auctions and offers.

With the job completed, finding minimal complication, there's great anticipation for the continuing material of Squint Koros Charter. The instruments provide a great functionality for the research journalism our captains will embark on in the Med. It will also provide our crew and passengers greater safety on long hauls.

There's is also, of course, the ethos of, Boney M, 'party party party.' Aaron Dia Pemberton, has promised the exploration of on his most mature undertakings as a commercial captain.

Great photographing the specialist installing the new instruments. Thanks, Satronica, the Flybridge was built to our design without cowboy cuttings. It looks great.

Getting, Selling, Creating

Its possible to make back some of the cost updating the Flybridge through the sale of the previous and unused navigation equipment. These include: A Navman Autopilot, A Garmin Active Speaker, A Garmin Display and Red Station Lights. If you're interested in buying any of these please contact me.

I can't gaurentee they'll sell to be economically solvency sustaining. There's a good reason for creating. The Curse of The Spider is a third through the editing process and looks to be ready for publishing in, June.

Also, on www.squintkoros.com, a great capture of the owner of Pacemaker, showing dexterity and skill, scaling the mast of the yacht.

A Scuff - le ?

5/12/2017

On the evening of the 10th at around 16:00, in heavy gusts of winds, TandEadapt was hit by his neighbour on the same pontoon berth as hit her this time last year.

The damage was not noticed at first, when, I walked out after feeling shocked by the impact. I was grieved not even a marinera was called to aid the other vessels mooring before the collision occurred.

The owner of the colliding vessel told me: "There was no damage. No need for alarm."

I was slightly startled but had helped the crew depart, holding their vessel away from TandEadapt during their setting off earlier that morning, in similar gusts. Seeing the crew was not hurt after the collision, I didn't show concern of TandEadapts condition.

It was the following day, updating the Flybridge of TandEadapt, the Scuff became apparent. The owner had left their yacht at that time and I was forced to engage in the compensation of damages through the Marina Reception staff.

The receptionist told me: "The owner has said he is away and that you had not pointed out any damage at the time of the incident."

Now Scuff mars not only the hull of TandEadapt but the decorum of civility with a Scuffle. I had avoided calling in the Marina Captain, explaining: I understood it was not perhaps noticeable, however, it was clearly a hit from a yacht berthed on TandEadapt's port beam. Which only left his vessel as the cause of it.

The wood needs to be treated before rot sets in and the hull needs to be repolished.
