The water tanks were dried up but the motors and dripping pipes suggested the installation of the TG23 - Portable Washing machine was correct.
We didn’t further the test to ensure the water pumps were not damaged by the dry pipes after the trawler being on dry docks for three months.
The installing was was a worthwhile labour, being only 4 man hours, with the entire pipeworks integrated with trawler’s plumming and then connected to the main 240 v power generaters.
This means the washing machine can be used at shore power when berthed or under the generator power when making way.
You can can find similar or the same type of portable machine for £200 or less. This particular model was ordered due to the deminsions of it, which fit well in the heads under the sink for setup. Make sure to measure and consider what adapters are needed, to prevent lengthy and uneconomical jobs.
