To recharge the new battery's I've switched from 10amp charging to 40. Within in hour of darkness, I've gone back into green on the battery gauge. Unfortunately I've had to switch the fridge off. Even more unfortunately I have to change it, as it's been a constant power drain and noise pollution from the galley. It is the sole cause of this power drain. There is a new fridge on board stowed away somewhere. Won't find it in the blackout though. Hope I can stay this cool on the swells of the Mediterranean waters.
I didn't think I'd need to be monitoring the ships power output so closely when berthed. However, today before leaving to shower in the marina wash facilities, I checked the battery gauge, as I always do before leaving, TandEadapt. The moniter was on a red light, meaning the new batteries were almost half depleted. I went for the shower and watched this closely after I came back.
