Let's NOT leave the lower helm 1

Originally the the yacht designer prioritised the upper helm on the flybridge. Installing GPS chart plotter and other navigation instruments on the flybridge only. Part of my training in the Sealine 420 was to make passages at night in its lower helm using Radar to see ahead and around our position. I expect to use the lower helm on TandEadapt in the same way so in 2014 I installed a chart plotter and AIS transponder in her lower helm. To improve the dimensions of the lower helm, this year I am designing it to be a separate bridge from the saloon.

This is the old lower helm without the bridge conversion of TandEadapt. Some of the new navigation instruments are apparent.
