I had some fantastic footage of the runnings, especially a final exercise where it was a small space requiring three approaches and was well achieved. A great training experience. The wind was slight but in such a small space as it was, the slight wind was critical. I had to keep the bow of the vessel directed slightly to port in order to compensate for the breeze blowing us starboard. The first two runs I was not starboard enough to safely enter the key but the third try I got it right. This exercise taught me patience and interpretation of surroundings. Normal exercises became much simpler after that.
Even though the video's were photos, I'm grateful to Amin, who was instructing me on TandEAdapt, as he was watching me more than the phone. Nothing loco about that. This experience has also emphasised to me the importance of good crew.
