During the manoeuvring and navigation exercises in August 2016 on TandEadapt, the old Garmin 235 Chartplotter failed, it was then apparent the radio and other instruments on the flybridge were weathered and dated. A couple did not work at all.
Here's the new communication equipment for the bridge and intercom to communicate with lower decks.
There's still equipment to arrive, such as a gpsmap to link with the lower helm Chartplotter (gpsmap 751). Also, GMi 20 displays. Given the length of time I have before travelling back to the trawler, rather than purchasing them immediately from a retailer, I'm searching for bargains in the brightest corners of the universe, which tend to appear at the birth of a star.
